I take it VERY SERIOUSLY what can happen to us law-abiding citizens in the US. My friends in Canada warn me constantly about what is possible when the government wants your guns. They play to the majority (who are non-weapons owners) and say that if all guns or all handguns or all assault rifles or all semi-auto guns are confiscated then we'll all live in a safer society. Balderdash!
The gun confiscaters KNOW that their statements are misleading at best and at worst are out-right lies. But so what! If it gets the job done for them then they KNOW that it is extremely hard for the law-abiding people to get their rights (& their guns) back.
