PS90 1st Gen optic conversion. Possible?

I have a first generation PS90. Is there a way to remove the current optic and replace it with a rail like the newer models use? I called FN and the random customer service person said they didn't think so, but "I don't think" isn't the same as "I know for a fact".

Any ideas?

Yes, there are a few different rails you could get to replace the standard optic.

They offered a trade-up program to the 2nd gen (much improved) sights 5 or 6 years ago.

The 2nd gen optics are pretty flipping fantastic, in my opinion.
