So I am thinking of building a AR-10 and the PSA set up is looking pretty good. Thinking about a lower for now and in a few months getting one of their uppers with the lower kit.

Has any one had any experience with their stuff?

I have had experience with them but with their 5.56 nato. Been nothing but reliable for me. Shipping takes some time so don't get in a rush but worth the wait for the price.

Haven't made it to the range yet, but I'm very happy with the fit & finish on the PA-10 SSK15 18" rifle kit I got and put on an Ares Armor signature lower.

I did a full write up on it, but no one seems to have been very interested:

The only thing that seems to be consistent about PSA ship times is that they are inconsistent. I've had them take the entire 15 business days (3 calendar weeks), but also had many orders go out in a day or two. This rifle kit was the last thing I ordered; did check out on a Monday afternoon, had it in my hands the following Tuesday.

So MacIVshooter have you had a chance to shoot it yet?

I went ahead and ordered a blemished lower from them. They said it will ship today.

Seems as though there are some on going problems with chambers and ejectors. People that have purchased a barrel and bolt from different vendors and assembled their own seem pleased.

I have purchased from PSA before and found the parts quality and prices good, but the assembly is questionable. I have stripped and reassembled their uppers and have been pleased once the barrel is torqued, gas block aligned, etc.

If you must dissemble first you might as well assemble from scratch. Black hole weaponry barrel, AIM surplus bolt, Aero receivers. The PSA receivers seem good and are very close to looking like milspec ar15, but resale will suffer with the PSA roll mark.

Couple of bucks more, but better quality and accuracy with no headaches.

I can't speak to their AR-10 offerings, but their AR-15 parts and receivers have been nothing but excellent for me.
