I have a pt-111 and am in the market for a couple of magazines. I looked at midway and they have 15 rounders for pt. Does anyone have any of these mags and how far do they stick out from the bottom of the gun?

Thanks guys

Are you sure the 15 rnders were PT 111 not a PT 101 (beretta clone)? If they are making 15's for the PT111 I'll have to get another one.

Can't wait to see if they fit. I will be amazed since I think the PT 111 is no longer made because of millenium pro. I could very well be wrong, and hope that I am. I love PT111's even the trigger which smoothed out nicely after about 500 rnds. I have always regreted selling it. If those mags work I will run out and buy the gun.

RE:mags

I picked up a PT111 Mil Pro a few weeks ago and it came with 12rnd mags. I can only get 12 in one mag and 11rnds in the other mag, the springs need to be worked in a bit. I kind of doubt a PT111 mag would ever hold 15rnds.

Also, anyone know if Wolff makes mag springs for the PT111 (or equivalent)?
I didn't see a listing for direct replacement springs.

The last time I talked to Wolf they did not have replacement springs for PT-111 mags.

I called Taurus and attempted to order springs from them but was told that I could only buy new mags - not the springs! :cuss:

- might give Wolf a call though. It's been a while since I asked.

O.K. The magazines came today and I tried them out. They do seem to be of decent quality but not as good as the factory magazines. They are somewhat difficult to seat in the gun. They seem to be very tight fitting and require a slap to seat in the magwell. They also will not drop free because of the tight fit. They also stick out of the bottom of the magwell about 1.5 inches and do not have any type of finger rests on them. I have decided to send mine back and find a better alternative.
