PT945 mag release

Is there a way to tighten up the tension in the mag release? It's a great gun and I've never experienced a malfunction at the range, but while carrying it, the mag has sometimes released. The mag release button seems kind of loose. It stays in the mag well, but I can see the day where I may lose it, or worse, I need it in a real situation and the mag drops out leaving me with only the one in round in the chamber.

I've had two PT945's pass through my hands over the years. The mag release was not as you describe on my guns. You may want to call Taurus and ask them for advise, replacement parts, etc. The call would be free.
