I learned about DLT just recently. I wanted to buy a Para 3 Lightweight knife and I checked with DLT. This company took my phone calls and answered all of my questions. They delivered within three days of placing my order. I then ordered another Para and received the same efficient service and good price. I later ordered a Spyderco sharpening system and had the same top-notch service . DLT is a reliable, professional, and efficient company focused on customer care.

Jason Thoune, the owner at DLT Trading, is one of the most stand-up guys in the knife retailing business. There are a bunch of good dealers, but DLT is tops. It is common to receive a shipping notice within hours of your order, and two-three days for delivery from order is normal as well. He and his team are responsive and knowledgeable, they do lots of things for the community of customers, and they have good prices, regular great dealer exclusives, and one of the biggest selections of products. If I buy a knife, I always look to see if I can get it at DLT first.

EDIT: Also it's cool that when I buy all those expensive stickers, they've thrown in free knives for so many years.

*Disclaimer: I've spent like $10,000+ at DLT in the last five years.

They are awesome. They are always one of the first places I check.

Which Para 3s did you get? It’s an excellent knife!

I bought one para 3 lightweight for me and then, because it carries so well, I ordered one for my youngest son. I also have a Spyderco Enuff fixed blade that I really like. I have always carried Bucks or Kershaws before now. Since I discovered Spyderco I put the others in a kitchen drawer, except for a Benchmade automatic which I have had for a long time. No more Benchmade purchases now. I purchased a Salt for a son who lives at Treasure Island, Florida . It’s an awesome knife for his purposes .
I also recently purchased the Spyderco triangle sharpmaker system from DLT for my son . I had already bought three others in earlier years for two other sons and myself. A master blade smith (who has been on Forged in Fire) who lives near me sold me a knife and advised me to get that sharpener as that’s all he uses . That was good enough advertisement for me.
Anyway, I will always go to DLT first for any edged products or accoutrements, for sure .
