Just wanted to review and inform about my latest couple of holsters - and Plug my new friend Rocky's website and products.
Rocky custom built a S&W 4 inch V-comp for me that is way beyond my expectations, as well as a standard design holster for my 226 elite/220 rail (pro-ops plus I believe) see http://www.purekustomholsters.com. So far these are some of the nicest holsters I've ever purchased, reasonably priced for this kind of work, and pretty quick turnaround, especially compared to the higher priced and I feel lesser quality manufacturers out there. I have purchased too many holsters to count, waiting up to a year for some, and while they are pretty, they didn't last....
Rocky's holsters - after months of hard use, particularly on the 226, show literally no signs of wear externally at all....
Side note, they can be worn as side holsters or IWB, even tuckable IWB. Pretty Ingenious design.
Enough accolades, I will try to post some pics of the v-comp he custom made in a little over a months time. Pictures really don't show the detail he puts into his craft.
