Thanks. It doesn't directly abrogate Ohio's common law "duty to retreat." Is that being addressed?

Right now "duty to retreat" language is not in the bill. Of course then also, leadership in the Senate doesn't really seem to be interested in moving this bill either.

Linda nails it on the head. This is why we need folks to follow the link and demand they move the bill forward, but also deal with the duty to retreat issue.

Nope! Had one proponent hearing in December. That's it! Nothing has changed since my Nov. 7 post, the Senate leadership doesn't seem interested in moving this bill.

Had a young man testify for us on behalf of the bill. Read his compelling testimony at the bottom of this page where it says "read Ryan's testimony here":

Just to clarify what I said in that post as well, the words "duty to retreat" are not in the bill per sa, but it is implied. I didn't know that 2 months ago.
