if you've got a revolver in your car (6 shot) do you keep ammo with it? Or if you've got a carry do you keep some extra ammo with you?

I believe you need to carry at least one reload for whatever you're carrying. Probably never need it but handguns are arkward clubs if you run dry.

I often don't carry a reload (ie speed loaders), but I keep a box in my truck all the time. Sometimes I'll carry loose ammo in my pocket as a reload; of course I know there is no speed using this method. Speed strips would probably be a better option.

I carry 2 speed strips. I had an extra 20 rounds in a box in the car, but I heard an opinion that if I was in or near the car and was involved in a shooting that the extra ammo may be used as evidence in court that I have the mindset of a Mall Shooter.

Any opinions on that?

Perahps that is one thing that weighs in favor of an autoloader which "normally" has that much ammo.

Also, if you're reloading a revolver, then the oft-cited argument about not leaving brass laying around has holes in it.

Regardless, I've got a model-64 and and would like to acquire a J-frame snubbie.
