Question about AW Ban Sunset and hi-cap mags

I know there are several points to the AW Ban sunsetting and I have a question about one in particular and didn't know if it was true or not. The capacity limit for mags imported into the US is 10 rounds, correct? After the AW Ban sunsets, will hi-cap mags for pistols and rifles legally be imported? I want to know because I may forgo buying any pistol hi-caps until it sunsets.

If anyone knows, it may be useful to post everthing that will become legal once the ban sunsets.

The magazine limit(Bill Ruger's brainchild) is indeed part of the 94 crime bill. If The ban sunsets regular capacity magazines made after 1994 will be available to non-LEO's once again.

If I'm not mistaken, the importation of normal capacity magazines made overseas was outlawed by another law in the late 1990's. I don't know if they would still be illegal for importation. But their posession would not be illegal, so unless they could prove that someone imported thed I don't think a person merely owning some could be charged.

I am not lawyer, but my understanding is the entire law will sunset next September!! I am trying to get rid of all the hi cap mags I have because I paid way too much money for all of them. You will also start to see allot of sales on mags. Nobody can say for sure if this bill we pass, but IMHO it looks like it will have a hard time passing through the House.

Importing hicaps made prior to '94 is legal now... I believe the importer needs some sort of documentation of the age of the magazines, but I'm not sure. However, Feinstein's updated AW ban that she is trying to get passed (which is very similar to the 94 ban) eliminates the import of hicaps.

Just because we're optimistic about the AWB sunsetting wont stop me from buying preban mags now.

Hell, I have four 20s and two 30s for an AR I dont have yet. I had more but i think i lost them while moving
