Many moons ago Bianchi made flap holsters for 7.5 inch Ruger Blackhawks. Would this holster accept a 7.5 inch ROA with adjustable sights?

Thanks.

Moderator, I know its about holsters, but there are so many ROA fans on this forum, I hope you can let it sit here a while.

When that holster was offered, the Old Army could only be had with adjustable sights. They are great holsters that offer a lot of protection for the revolver. I never had a chance to find out for sure, but it seems like they should accommodate a 7 1/2" Blackhawk.

Yes they fit the 7 1/2" Blackhawk, the frame is essentially the same with only the loading lever on the ROA instead of the ejector. Many parts of the ROA and the old model BH are interchangeable as Ruger used existing parts at the time to minimize cost on the original ROA and utilize existing components, already in stock production.

Pricing on these Ruger "Practical" holsters (as Bianchi dubbed them) are out of this world anymore.
I spent several months following the offerings and considered myself lucky to find the one I got for $100.00 .

I remember when they came out. I didn't care for that twist mechanism on the flap. I got the Bianchi holster instead.
