Question about Kimber rimfire conversion kit for 1911

Does anyone know if the Kimber rimfire target conversion kit for the 1911 will fit any 1911 platform, particularly the Rock Island Armory? I have a brand new kit that I dug up out of the safe, never even used it and sold my Kimber, but I do have a RiA 1911 in 38 super so I was wondering if I could still use it on the RiA or just sell it? Guess I could ask Kimber but I was already on here so thought I would ask.

Full-size Kimbers are standard M1911s and most parts for an M1911 will fit. The only conversion parts that need to fit are the slide and magazine, so there's little worry a Kimber conversion would not fit a Rock Island

The conversion kits I have handled still did not have the Kimber firing pin blocks in them. Their website still says it will fit other brands, so you should be OK.

My Kimber conversion will not fit any of the Dan Wessons I've owned. It does fit my NHC fine.
