Folks, I have a Lee Collet Die for .303 British, which I haven't gotten around to loading much of just yet, and am currently loading 7.62X54 Russian and 7.5Swiss.
My question is this: Can I use the Lee .303 British collet die on these other 2 caliber? I would not like to overwork my brass, and as I plan to shoot quite a bit of both calibers in the relatively near future, what would be the downside of using this die on the 7.62x54(.311-.312 bullet) as well as the 7.5 Swiss (.308 bullet)?
Also, does anyone have detailed instructions as to how I might be able to use this die most effectively? Thanks so much in advance for your help and adv:confused: ice!

Did you check Lee's web site?
Or you can just e-mail them. They answer pretty quick. 1-2 days.:D
Great people.

Lee collet dies are cartridge specific, meaning meant for one precise configuration or case dimension. If they make a die for your other two calibers, then you'd have to get one for each. If they do not,(which is what I suspect), then they WILL make you one. IIRC it's a $50.00 charge + one of your fired shells for a pattern.

They are cartridge specific. Last I checked it was $50 + $5 shipping & handling for custom collet dies and they need 3 cartridges cases that were fired in the gun in question.
