Question about picatinny rails

Yesterday I bought a Colt M4 .22lr Ops. I can't wait to take it to the range! My question is about the picatinny rails. How do I take the covers off of them? I don't want to break the clips.

depends on what kind of rail covers you got... the plastic ladders come by pulling them out..

on the other hand, others like the KAC rail covers must be slided all the way out while pressing the iron clamp..

to help you, we must understand what kind of covers you have.

I found my answer. I have to PUSH on the clips, I wondered if I had to pull the clips out. Thanks!
