Is there a way to make one of the screws difficult to turn when the other screw is off? (after the scope has been sighted-in of course)
When the scope is off and one of the screws out, nothing is pressing on the other screw, and it’s easy to turn it, by finger or if it catches on anything.
Now this would mess up the windage when you put back the scope.
I was thinking of putting a spring on the screw which I don’t undo, the tension should make it more difficult for the screw to turn when the other screw is out.
Has anyone done anything like that? Any ideas on keeping one of the screwed in place when the other is out?
Thanks
