I'm embarrassed to say so, but I pulled out one of my safariland speed loaders the other night, and I can't figure out how to lock the rounds back in it again. I love the HK speedloaders, as just a flick of the switch locks rounds in place, but I have pushed and pulled and can't figure out how to lock the rounds in place. Any help or advice is GREATLY appreciated, thanks so much in advance!

Turn the speedloader so the holes are up. Insert the rounds. Put your hand or a stiff flat surface such as a piece of wood on top of the rounds.

Turn the speedloader over so the bullets are resting on a flat surface.

Push down on the knob, then turn until you hear a click.

When you insert the rounds, push on the base of the loader, not the knob.

Thanks so much, another Okie, for your help. I finally got the cartridges into that speed loader! They may be quick to release into the cylinder, but they are a pain in the rear to load, and I still prefer the HKS speed loaders - simple, reliable, and I like simple!
