At my LGS this afternoon I ran across a Sig P320 labeled as model "320f-9-BSS"

I decided to hold off and see what was available online and what prices were like. Sure enough a couple places had them cheaper *but* I notice this one is labeled as "W320F-9-BSS".

Descriptions on both seem to be the same. Any ideas?

SIG offers what they refer (referred?) to as the Individual Officers Program (IOP). The guns come out of the LE Division and are a subset of those that come out of the Commercial Division. Not all Commercial guns have an IOP counterpart. The IOP guns are available at a discounted price compared to the Commercial guns and the discounts are available to active and retired LE/military, as well as First Responders plus a few other groups. The guns that come out of the LE Division have a different SKU# than the Commercial guns. The difference is the first letter in the SKU. LE guns start with the "W". This prevents dealers from moving guns from one category to the other.

There are other items available under the IOP that include some accessories, magazines, optics, etc.
