chiappa alaskan takedown lever action -
i figured there are some owners on here.

just curious about your opinions on this rifle. is the action smooth? how does it compare to others? is it worth the money? and any other info you might share.

thinking about getting one. i don't need it, and i don't even get to shoot much anymore, but i just kinda want one.
i'm looking at retiring next year or the year after. any big purchases i make need to be made while i'm still working, as i will be poor again after i retire.

thinking about 45 colt, or possibly another 357 or 44.
i already have a rossi 357 and 44 lever action. i also have a colt python in 357, and ruger single actions in 44 and 45 colt.
i like the idea of pistol/rifle in the same caliber, although i doubt i would ever actually need the combo.

Waiting to see what responses you get.
All I can tell you, really like .45 Colt carbines.

I’ve done the same thing and it sure does allow for simpler reloading sessions. Kill two birds with one cartridge, so to speak. I have passed on the 45-70 revolvers, though! :)
