Question for Denver CO folks

Is there a shop where I could expect to find HSM .357 mag "Bear Stopper" in stock when I fly in to denver?

You could call cabelas. If they don't have it in stock you could use their "ship to store" on their website.

Can you buy it in Atlanta and take it along on your flight in checked baggage?

I might be able to. Truth be told, I am leery of TSA and such. Want to minimize problems. Just thought if might be more available out there.

I may end up doing something like that, though.

We have two Cabela's stores here in Denver, if you opt for the "ship to store" option. One up north in Thornton, one south in Lone Tree, both are just off I-25.

Thanks for the help guys. I have decided to try to check some equivalent buffalo bore and if it makes it, fine. If not, I will purchase in Denver.

My local Cabela's carries both BB and HSM hard cast bear loads. They may just have it in their normal stock.

Check with Bass Pro as well. I only say that because the BP is on I-70 and a LOT closer to the airport than either of the Cabela's
