How many different types of revolvers do you know of between 1862 and 1873?

Colt/Remington style C&Bs, Thuer conversions, 1st model Cofer, Pinfires, rimfires, teatfire, needle fires - no that was rifle only - so 7, Volcanic Rocket ball - no, that's not a revolver, so six,

Fingers, I'm beginning to think that there is very little, in fact probably nothing that you don't know about C&Bs. If we had a genuflecting smiley, I'd use it.

I read alot

When Who Wants to be a Millionaire first aired on TV, my brother tried to get on the show. He said I was going to be his call a friend cause, in his words, I was the largest repository of useless information he knew.

And most of these came and went in a matter of just a few years. I am always amazed at the number of people that spent their time and money coming up with better ways to kill people.
My impression is that very few of them were successful enough to make a living with what they invented.
