Question for ruger sr556 and 762 owners

Recently purchased a ruger 762. Seeing as they seem to just be a bigger version of the 5.56 I am wondering what kind of round counts you have and any durability issues. What does the life of the bolt and the piston seem to be. Has anyone actually ran one until something and failed. If you have a 762 with a decent round count feel free to answer also.
 
Sr-556 & sr-762

I have both the SR-556 & SR-762 Rugers. They are two of my favorite AR platforms. Unfortunately, at my age I can only hope to live, and remain financially solvent, long enough to answer your question.
