If you build a new 5.56 chamber AR which HS gauges do you use?
Just curious, 223 GO and 5.56 MIN are same so no-brainer there. 223 NO-GO, most [all I've ever tried] 5.56 will close on that. So from there, I dislike 5.56 MAX and use 223 field for the 5.56 NO-GO (since such animal doesn't exist).
Just curious what others do or if you do same and have found a 5.56 that will close on a 223 FIELD but not a 5.56 MAX? Just seems 5.56 MAX is a bit much for a new build to feel comfortable since there isn't a real good feel for how close to closing you are unless you're starting to rotate locking lugs or something.
What about 223 WYLDE? I use 223 GO + 223 FIELD as those will normally close on a 223 NO-GO as well - at least mine do, but I only have 2 of those.
