Cslinger; I just saw you mentioned having most of the Weihrauch rifles.
My question is do you have the HW85 and 95, or at least know the differences between them? The two appear to be the same gun except for barrel length, but I don't have much info to go on. The shorter 95 is advertised by Weihrauch as having the same power as the 85. Airguns of Arizona (AAZ) lists the 95 having more power, but they show conflicting info on the 85 so all the data is likely wrong. The velocity on the Weihrauch site for those and many other guns are equal and imo are probably estimates. AAZ shows the 85 as 22% more expensive than the 95, and 10% more than the 95 Luxus which only confuses me further.
Basically I'd love to have the 95, but would prefer the longer barrel. If the 85 is in some way better which explains the much higher price then I'll consider it, but AAZ doesn't list an 85 in .177 (which is what I'm after) so that complicates my problem even further. If they're the same except for barrel length then I'll get the 95 in .22 and buy a longer .177 barrel separately and have both calibers to play with. I would consider the 80 but it's a bit heavy imo. Cocking effort is also a factor, but I haven't been able to find reliable info there either. I was hoping a 95 is <30lbs, and <25 with the long barrel. Power is another, what pellet was used to get this claimed 290m/s per Weihrauch. If 7.0gr then I'll need to reconsider everything, or at least expect cocking effort to be 10lbs less.
Thanks in advance.
