Questions on Herters Super 3 reloading outfit

Inherited the Herters Super 3 Press Outfit includes scale, measure, Lyman case prep tools, and 4 dies, questions are: Is it safe? purchased 1970, loaded maybe 1000 rds. Press is tight, works smooth, no rust, really mint condition for age. Were there problems with this equipment? If I keep it are shell holders available and from whom? Thanking you in advance for your advice or experiences.

Sure.
You might should check the scale calibration.

I don't know of a source for the proprietary Herters shellholder, but there are adapters for regular Pacific type T slot shellholders nearly everybody makes now.

great old press

I have one and use it to reform brass.
Huge, heavy and tough as nails.
Shellholders can be found on ebay if you don't want to use the universal though they work great.
