Sig P226 Elite with 18rd magazin and SureFire laser/light combo

usually my nearest gun would be a G21 Gen4 with same light/laser - but that piece is with Glock right now. Erratic ejection and BTF.... :scrutiny:

Funny. This thought occurred to me last night as I laid in bed. If I heard a noise, and I just did, what loaded firearm would I have available immediately? This is not something I particularly think about when I am at home even though the "self defense talk" would not indicate that.

In my case at that particular moment, it was a GP-100. But when I read this thread, and my current location (sitting in front of my desk), it's a loaded Ruger LCR-22.

Things happen... I felt my very first earthquake yesterday. I had no control or advance warning and that made me feel unprepared.

S&W M1917 Brazilian Contract circa 1938, loaded with Fiocchi 230gr JHP in a full-moon clip. If that doesn't get me to the safe upstairs then I guess it's just not my day.

Keltec P3AT (It's not mine, I swear!)

About 8' from that is a S&W Airweight (not mine either)

Those are to get me another 8' to the closet where there's a loaded RIA .45 with 2 spare mags and a loaded Kahr TP9 with 4 spare mags.

4-inch GP100 loaded with 125-gr .357 Magnum Remington Golden Sabers, and a speedloader of same next to it.

Smith & Wesson SW40VE in a Vega Belt slide. 14+1 rounds of 155 grain Gold Dot. Extra magazine in watch pocket. Yeah it actually fits!!!
