Funny. This thought occurred to me last night as I laid in bed. If I heard a noise, and I just did, what loaded firearm would I have available immediately? This is not something I particularly think about when I am at home even though the "self defense talk" would not indicate that.
In my case at that particular moment, it was a GP-100. But when I read this thread, and my current location (sitting in front of my desk), it's a loaded Ruger LCR-22.
