OK, since I'm at "work" I can't check the DVD but what does he tell that gunsmith in the town about the bullets that will work in his 45/110 ? Something about an Enfield musket ball...? :confused:

Also, how accurate was that statement and how accurate do you reckon they would shot..? :scrutiny:
 
Apparently the same 480-grain paper-patched bullet used in the .577-.450 Martini-Henry rifles.
 
The .450 British #2 Musket (actually 500/450) bullet was 480 grain .458 diameter. Some where paper patched. Quigley's rifle was .45-110 which took a .480 grain .458 diameter bullet mostly paper patched. For once Hollywierd got it right--blame Selleck. The bullet for the 577-450 Martini Henry was closer to .468-.472 diameter although some manufactures made them with smaller bullets.
