Radio Ad Script writer needed?

Hey,

I am working on a local sheriff candidates political campaign. We are in need of someone to write a 30 sec redio spot for us based on our previous written brochures and lit. If there is anyone out there that is involved or does this please contact me. I am willing to pay for the service also if reasnable?

Write or record?

Writing is the easy part, making it to tape is a little harder.

I got a BA in Electronic Media (broadcasting) Not in that line of work, kinda funny how things turn out that way.

I do a fair ammount of writing and recording radio ads, especially for a local gun shop.

I'm sure I can "borrow" the professional equipment I record on from the local radio station; I've done it several times before.

How many different ads? How long each ad? Will they let you do 15 second ads - they are the most effective IMO and then do 4 times as many of them.

Most radio stations want to sell a minimum of a one minute ad. See if they will divide the cost by 4 and sell you four 15 second ads for the same price.

I should be able to write, record and email the finished ads to you. If not, I can send you cassette tapes of finished ads.

Please let me know the call letters of the station, the location of the stations and the ad rates. I'll check out some other things once I have that. I'll need some contact data; email and phone number of the station manager or program manager or both would be great.

And, as mentioned above; web site for the candidate if one is available or you could send me some written data on his platform, etc. And, phone numbers, email, etc. for you and the candidate.

That should allow me to do a quick check and get back to you appropriately.

Standing Wolf, Yes thank you, did you get the final copy i sent you for your portfolio? For everyones info, SW helped me edit and re-write our brochures and lit. They have been a huge success so far. Everyone that reads them agrees and basically can't disagree with the info. He is a great wordsmith and much appreciation is due!

To everyone whom has responded thank you. I will be getting info your way. I didn't post details on here until seeing who / what was available for help.
