The area I lived in had a lot of these "ranges". Department of Transport had to change the signs on a weekly basis

Here's my local range. It's small, and very low budget, but only costs $7 a year and that's pretty much on the honor system (which is unfortunate since there are a lot of freeloaders).

It has 15 (out of view), 25, 50 and 100 yard target stands.

AndyC wins!:D

There are some nice ranges. Sorry to say that none of the ranges I use are worth wasting film or digital media.

Here's some pics of the range I built in my woods. It's my own private playground.

Here's the main range, looking down towards some knock-down steel plates. You can't see them real clear, but there's armor gongs at 100,125, 150 and 200 yards.

Here's the gongs, welded onto springs and rims buried into the ground.

Here's a "combat course" I have on the range too, where you shoot from cover at knock-down steel, it's more evolved than these early pics show.

Some friends claybusting on the firing line.

Here's my hillbilly rifle rests. Notice that 99% of my range is built on the cheap....not an accident!

This is the rear of my property, we also shoot here sometimes....my daughter likes to crawdad hunt in the stream.
