Despite the short barrel, this gun is a tackdriver!!

This gun never fails to surprise me with it's accuracy. It's my designated hiking/ MTB gun.
Over the years I have owned it,the only problem I have encountered involved the strain screw backing out, causing light strikes-easily fixed with blue Loc Tite and retightening. The gun came with nice looking rosewood fingergroove grips which unfortanately did little for the web of my shooting hand,so now it has Hogue rubber monogrips, which improve things a bit.I still keep me eyes peeled for the Compact Pachmar round butt grips, but no luck so far.
This outing I shot 10 rounds Rapid fire at 10yrds-five shots, reload, five more shooting as fast as I could get a flash sight picture-I was pretty sloppy and dropped one off the paper target using the Blazer .44 special 200gr JHP...I'm confident this will improve with practice.
Shooting offhand at 25yrds for groups of six, single action,I was able to nail a 2 and 1/8 inch group, one of my better efforts-using Blazer 240gr JHP magnum loads.I can almost always get sub 3" groups with this gun using full power loads, and not quite as good using .44 special factory loads.:)

dammit,picture man!!
