Range Report Walther P99 Compact QA 9mm
Well I finally made it to the range with my newly acquired play pretty.
Pistol: Walther P99c QA (Quick Action) 9mm essentially it’s a Glock style DAO trigger set at about 7.0 pounds.
Ammo: 250 rounds of China-mart White box 115-grain 9mm and Georgia Arms 115-grain 9mm reloads
Target: GA standard GDAC Pistol human silhouette
Distance: 3, 7, 15 and 25 yards
Pistol worked flawlessly, shot doth mags loading up five rounds at a time, alternating mags each time.
Gun is freaky accurate for a polymer, tilting barrel 9mm auto loader.
Swallowed every round w/o a single hiccup.
Shot strong-hand, weak-hand, gorilla grip, limp wrist fairy grip, from a rest and many others, with no problems.
This gun will complement her bigger sister the P99 9mm well.
Anyone looking for a nice compact 9mm should look hard at the Walther especially at the price.
Same price or in my case cheaper than the Glock.
