I had the opportunity to spend some time with the P-46 this morning. I must say all I can do is echo what others are saying: The (stock) P-64 is reliable, accurate and is somewhat painful to shoot beyond 50 rounds.
So far, I've only used Silver Bear (LVE?) 94gr FMJ and JHP (50 of each). I didn't bother with the double action as I find "finger fatigue" prevents me from being able to pull the trigger double action more than 3 consecutive times. However, single action is surprisingly light. Seriously, the pistol caught me off guard a couple times by firing after what feels like a 2-pound trigger.
The pistol began to raise and subsequently break a blister on my thumb knuckle/web of my hand halfway through the second box (75-ish rounds).
I was impressed by both the accuracy of this pistol and the reliability (again, only 100 rounds were put through the pistol, half being JHP). The sights are conducive towards target work, but are so small and aren't the best for "combat". This pistol appears well made and is quite thin, so I can see why some people like it.
