Range Time

How much range time do you guys manage to pull on a weekly or monthly basis. I'm heading to the range shortly to shoot my new SA-XD. Swore I'd never buy a plastic gun. Damn! Anyway, I was just curious as to how often every one else is getting to shoot. Gotta go kill some paper, see ya.

Approximately ten hours per month, however less in the Winter months.
Usually over the week end days.
The journey takes me fifteen minutes, one way.

If I could do it, I would like to increase that time.

Once a week for at least an hour, if not more. Sometimes more if we go with others, etc.

The past month and a half we have only been a few times, but things are starting to get back to normal and drop back into place.

Last year I bought a 40 acre parcel 20 minutes from my house and built my own 30 meter pistol and 200 meter rifle range. I go out to shoot a couple times a week, if it’s just me practicing, an hour or so depending on what I’m working on. If the guys from the office come out it’s usually a morning deal with a BBQ afterwards.

Range-time - how much - how often

I usually spend about 2 hours per trip, on or two days per week. So I would say at least sixteen, up to twenty per month. Multiply that by 12 for an average of 200 - 240 hours per year. That does not include the road trips to 'Camp De Gusto', AKA the fish camp. ( location = classified ) It is in the double bend of a river that borders a 'game land'. I get to hunt Bear, Boar, Turkey, Whitetail. One of Gods little pieces of Heaven on Earth.

I just work Fri, Sat & Sunday. It gives me 4 days to play w/ my toys. I get lane choice, plus is = not crowded.

I usually spend 2 hours or so each time that I go.I usually go 2-5 times a week..it is a 20 minute ride each way. She gets pi**ed off each time..that just makes me wanna stay longer
