In the cooler weather, I may be spending some time in the Chandler, AZ area. A good shooting range makes life more fun, and perhaps you folks can make some suggestions. Here's what I'm looking for:

Must be outdoors and preferably allow both pistol and rifle (different bays ok).
Must allow me to supply my own ammunition and pick up my brass

Nice but not mandatory-
Driving time less than 1 hour
Open during the week
Pistol to 50 yds, rifle to 100 yds
Allows IDPA/IPSC targets
Allows rapid fire
Allows drawing from holster

Recommendations?
Thanks!

This one is supposed to be unsupervised: http://www.arizonarifleman.com/2008/05/09/range-visit-elsy-pearson/

I haven't been to that range, but I made a note from an Internet post in case I'm back in the Phoenix area.

Here's those notes. Can't give due credit to the original post since I didn't save that.

"Near Phoenix, AZ: Casa Grande, free public range, unsupervised and well
maintained. I-10 south to I-8, I-8 to Trekell Road, south on Trekell about
1.5 miles, turn left on Arica. Go about 3/4 mile, road bears right, follow
it another 1/2 mile, first range on the left is the police range, second is
the Elzy Pearson memorial range. Open at 0730, closes at sundown.
Probably need to bring target stand."

There is always Ben avery only thing is the driving time may be the only thing that's a little iffy depending on time of day the rest is good to go, o and closed Monday and Tuesday

A few ranges are:

Phoenix Rod And Gun off 7th St and South Mountain,

Ben Avery of I-17 and Carefree Hway,

Rio Salado in Mesa off Power Rd and Mckellups.

Good matches at each including Steel, USPSA, IDPA. Also Public ranges.

Do a "search." Get more information

Actually, I did that before posting. But the difference between what you find on the 'net and what people actually experience, can be significant.

Rio Salado and Phoenix Rod & Gun both look good but PR&GC seems open only on weekends unless I become a member, not sure how complicated that is. Any advice?

Ben Avery also looks nice but would be an ugly drive during rush hour.

Elsy (Elzy?) Pearson (thanks, Harry) is a bit far but could be nice, if it's unsupervised then draw & shoot is probably ok. Of course, sometimes unsupervised ranges get a little scary...

rio salado would probably be your best bet. used to be five bucks a day, has an ro, has shotgun bay and rifle bay out to 300 yards. they do a lot of run and gun stuff out there.
