Rare Sheridan .22lr

I've only ever seen one in the flesh. I'm not sure if they have any collector cache at this point, but it seemed like a reasonable quality single shot pack pistol.

Definitely MUCH better than those horrible Daisey Legacy .22s- though the compressed-air ignition caseless Daisey VLs were fairly well made.

Any of the air gun company .22lrs have collector value to .22, air gun, or unique gun collectors.

I have one of the Daisey .22 rifles. I'd love to have a Sheridan as well.

Wow... Here I thought that Daisy was the only air gun company that made something in 22LR. Thanks for posting the pic with the informative link that gave the history of them, and even a Roy Huntington range report.

Pretty cool. I have only seen pictures of that picture. The daisies were interesting 22 rifles. So is this one.
I probably shoulda snatched up the one I saw maybe 6-7 years ago. IIRC, they were asking $325 or so. I knew even then they were rare, but it still seemed like a lot for what it was, lol.

Not long after that, they had a mint Whitney Wolverine in nickel with box for $900. I thought long and hard about that one. In retrospect, DEFINITELY shoulda grabbed it. 😊

My Dad still has a Daisey Legacy. Total hot garbage, IMO.
