RCBS Bench Primer Handle

I’ve used both APS primer and the Automatic Priming Tool.I prefer the APT. I can load the tubes way faster than strips. Choice is a good thing. The Primafill makes it easy and fast.

Yes, a little faster, but not safer. I can't get out of my mind the pictures of a forum member's mangled hand when he carried a loaded tube across a floor covered with Nylon carpet. So I wasn't exactly thrilled when I bought the newer RCBS Pro Chucker 7 for the extra stations, and they had gone back to tubes. But I wanted those 7 stations to make using "M" expanders easier. :)

I still prefer the Pro 2000's safer APS priming system by far.

I'll be interested to see who scoops up this APS treasure on Ebay. If somebody here on THR, I'll show them how to make the strip loader better and faster.....:)

I believe it’s safe(no nylon carpet in my basement:))and not a little faster than strips but way faster. Glad you like APS. Like I said choice is a good thing. If you feel they’re less safe by all means don’t use one. But my thread wasn’t about which primer was preferred but how much I like the roller handle on it.
