Has anyone bought a roller handle for their rcbs press? I have seen these on eBay and have thought about getting one for my Rockchucker.

Thoughts......

I've seen them for the LNL too. The only question I have on these is ergonomics? Is it going to put the hand/wrist at a natural angle for comfort. The ball handle allow this, not sure the roller handle will.

The standard Roller handle for the Dillon. The fit is a little loose, but if torqued to 30 ft/lb, it will not move.

I have had this set up for years, and would never go back to the ball. The deluxe Dillon is smaller. I like the larger handle. YMMV.

I was looking at the blue handle for the press as well. It seemed to me..no matter how good it looked..that it would force my hand to be in one position throughout the reloading process. With the ball..your hand naturally rotates on it with the up and down stroke. Just me thinking!

With a roller handle, would it not be easier on the hand? The handle would rotate while the ball would not. It looks like to me, your hand would naturally rotate with the up and down stroke, but would do it with less friction on your hand than the ball.

Well...my ball handle is free spinning. The hand just kind of rotates with the ball on down stroke. I was seconds from buying the blue handle..but did not. Heck...I may buy it just to give it a try..just to say that I bought something, but I see no ergonomic advantage on the handle. I seem to think that the ball is more comfortable.

Ergo handles rock

Love my inlinereloader.com handles on my LnL & original style Rockchucker.

It looks like a good idea to me. I bought the ergo one for my LCT from that inline place. ;)

Should be here tomorrow.

The round ball handle was a large improvement over the bicycle grip style handle I got on my RCBS RC press. RCBS sent me a FREE upgrade when I tried to buy one.:D I am happy with it the way it is now so will not go to a roller handle any time soon. It will be interesting to hear what those that have swapped to it have to say when using it for extended reloading sessions. I was wondering if it bothered the wrist more than the ball style?? I would hate to spend money on something that would not work as well for me who has bad wrists as it is.

Pro 2000 availability??

Does anyone know of a roller handle that will fita RCBS Pro 2000 progressive.? The ball handle eats at my hand after 200-300 rounds. I wear a fingerless glove on my right hand and it is a real PITA..

Any responses would be helpful.

Inlinefabrication gives a 100% no BS guarantee if you don't like it ship it back.

I didn't like the ball on my LNL AP either - too rough. I took off the smooth ball from my Dillon press and it fit great. Don't tighten it down and it rotates easily as you pull the handle down.

He will also make a roller handle for the RCBS, just email him.

Am I missing something here??? Who are you referring to when you say "he/him"???

The Dove

Me. :D

He is correct. I offer a 100% no BS guarantee. If you buy a roller lever, and for whatever reason, you two just cant get along, I will buy it back. To date, I have shipped out 6 of the Pro 2000, with nothing but great reviews and happy customers. (Including one to Australia)

I hate the LnL ball wished it would spin. Nice looking roller handles on here but not for me. Thinking about a cue ball i'm sure it could be drilled. A bolwing ball might be a bit large?
