I'm having trouble with my RCBS sidewinder tumbler. RCBS replaced the drum a couple of years ago due to the old one being cracked and the new drum has worked fine till now.
All the problem seems to be is that the drive roller is not getting enough traction against the drum and it's slipping badly now.
The roller bushings seem to be fine, I don't see the drum rubbing anywhere? I'm baffled.

Maybe the tread on the drive roller is wore too smooth?

Or dirty. I'd give the rollers a good cleaning and make sure no grease is on them.

It's like your mouse for your computer. It gets dirty and caked up inside after awhile. Once it's cleaned it works just like new

Going to have to try and find some rubber/piece of inner tube, etc,... to put around the drive roller for the drum to sit on.

It's too slick.

Secured a rubber band around the outer edge of the drum with super glue and it functions great till the rubber band wears and breaks in about ten minutes.

It needs tougher rubber on the drum for traction where it contacts the drive rollers.
