Do you know of a multi-use-wrench that fits all the typical RCBS nuts, including the lock ring? (I don't really care much for the RCBS ring wrench w/ the floppy handle). Hornady has one, but it doesn't fit the RCBS rings or nuts. Anyone? .......Thanx......

I use an adjustable wrench on the RCBS dies. I modded a Hornady wrench for the Hornady lock rings.

I keep several tools on my bench. A 12inch adjustable wrench is handy to have around. Over the years I have bought a few smaller combination wrenches that fit the different decapping pin nuts and what-nots and leave them in my loading room. Lightman

This gent makes a couple of very nice box wrenches just for reloading dies.

and scroll down through the other stuff he makes.
I have the single end and it works like a champ on my LnL press where the dies are pretty close.

• If the die body is locked down, only to be checked occasionally, then I use the Dillon 1" hex lock nuts which allow the use of a modified 1" box-end wrench from the pawn shop. This is the smallest lock ring you can get and really pays off in tight areas like progressive die holders.

• If the die body is removed from the press, then I use the Hornady clamp-type lock nuts for repeatable placement.

• All other adjustments (such as bullet seating depth) get an o-ring placed under the stock nut so that only hand power is required to tweak the adjustment. The o-ring prevents the adjustment from loosening up due to vibration.

I agree that hand tight is all you need on a die. I still have several wrenches on the bench, mostly for loosening things that get tight. Lightman

Probably not what you have in mind, but this is what I've used for 40 years.:)

Just to let you guys know. This guys wrenches are top notch, very nice. I ordered one. Only down side is that if you have a RCBS Pro 2000 press with RCBS dies the wrench will not fit between the other nuts. So you are stuck using the RCBS wrench. If you are using dies with the smaller 1 1/8" nuts the wrench will work. I happen to have one set of Lyman dies with smaller nuts.

Think I am going to take the RCBS wrench to work and have a T handle welded to the top of it. Get rid of that flinky handle.
