RCBS Little Dandy or Uniflow small rotor

Just make sure to use the RCBS Uniflow Powder Measure Small Cylinder and Powder Baffle for throw weights less than 10 gr.

When you get the Baily Boat adjustable Little Dandy Rotor, let us know what you think. Thanks.
The adjustable rotor showed up today. It works well and easy to adjust without removing. I plan on using it when the fixed rotors don't throw the load I need.

Up to now I have used a beam scale for my 44 & 45 loads, but I have come into almost 8 lbs of Unique and will now load 45acp. The beam scale is too slow and either the RCBS Little Dandy or Uniflow seem to have good reviews for handling Unique. I see an adjustable rotor is available from someone "Bailey Boat" makes one but I have not found how to contact him. Can someone send me in the right direction and any input on how it handles Unique would be appreciated.

I saw a collection of reloading equipment and supplies from an estate today.
It included a Little Dandy and a Pacific Pistol Powder Measure. I don't single stage enough pistol ammo to warrant a fixed charge measure, a Uniflo Small does pretty well.

I have the rcbs uniflow with small rotor, but recently got the little dandy which I prefer to use. The little dandy is really consistent, just make sure you weigh your charges first. Do not rely on the chart to be exact.

When loading the 32 Auto I use my Pro AutoDisk with a micro-disk mounted on the turret press. It work well for me, even better that the adjustable charge bar.

How much was the adjustable rotor and could you please send me the contact information for Baily Boat?

Use AA #2 for .380 and any measure will throw it consistently enough for you. That's what I did

AA#2 Meters great in .380 size charges using my Lee auto drum or my Hornady measure., my go to powder for practice .380s.
I usually use the Lee because I like to leave the Hornady set for my 9mm practice/match load.

AA#2 is Good stuff for .380.

If you are doing handgun loading, save big magnums, a small rotor in the Uniflow is totally necessary. Most of my handgun loading is done now on a 550B. The small rotor in my Uniflow is used for fast powder for lead bullets in rifle cartridges. I have a LCT set up also. Been paying attention to what you guys have to say about Lee's measures. Been fiddling with those Lee things since they first came out.

Follow up to OP. I've been using the Little Dandy with the perfect adapter for a couple of months now.I made a baffle for the Little Dandy. The set up works great on top of my LCT. I have been using mostly the fixed rotors as they have been able to throw the powder volume I need. The adjustable rotor works well. Very pleased with the set up.
