If I buy an RCBS Trim Pro-2 to trim 223 what else has to be purchased separatly? Shell holder & 3-way cutter?

The three way cutter head is a must. I'm looking to make the same purchase soon. Also RCBS is coming out with the trim pro and prep center as an all in one unit. I saw it at Midway for $400 but I don't think they are out yet.

My TrimPro came with the appropriate pilots and shell holders for most everything I load for (except a shell holder for 460 S&W - but the TP-2 should come with a universal shell holder). I did buy a 3-way cutter for trimming 223 rem, since I have a lot more to process than I have in other cartridges. I didn't have to buy anything else.

So... no, you shouldn't have to buy anything else.

No, it comes with everything for the 223. The version II does not need separate shell holders. The V 1 did (I have this one) the 3 way cutter works very well BUT if you plan on doing a lot of trimming your hand, wrist etc will get tired very quickly You can get the little hex rod to attach to a drill which is easy on the hand, but a pain to pick up and insert every time.

I just bought the WFT, should be here tomorrow.
