Shooting lots of 223 reloads.Was considering RCBS X dies to to keep my trimming to a minimum.Do they work as advertised?Experiences...opinions? Worth the money?

Yes they work bought one after cousin showed me they work. It saves time on trimming keeping brass from getting to long. You have to trim brass .20 shorter first time I got small base for use in different ar rifles. I full length sized first went to RCBS sml base die for that as well Lee kept screwing up it had been here for years . I think it is way to go if you shoot ar my bolt Remington gun neck size is perfect bump shoulder back once in awhile good to go. Ar are picky though especially if you shoot same ammonia multiple guns

I gave away my X die. I found that it created a donut at the neck/shoulder junction of my cases. In some instances it collapsed the neck into the shoulder just a bit, but I could see it.Anyway, I've always wondered where the extra brass from the stretched case goes with an X die, and nobody has provided an answer. I'm skeptical until someone can explain how they work.
