Really strange gun... Anybody know anything?

It's either Chinese or Peshawar, Pakistan. either way, not rare or experimental. I would not shoot it. Interesting, but not too valuable.

It looks like a mix of that stripper-clip-fed Steyr pistol, a Nambu, C96 (hammer), and Beretta 1934.....a mix of all of the worst parts of all of those firearms meshed into one object

Eightball? What's wrong with the Beretta 1935? I have a nice one, a safe queen, but in great shape. Used to be carry back up for cop friend of mine before he retired.

Apparently .30 Mauser, as the gun was captured along with a bunch of boxes of .30 Mauser, according to the auction.

The 180 degree, not quick to disengage safety lever on the 1934?

ie: the reason why the Israelis teach Condition 3 carry. (Well, that and the crossbolt safety on the Beretta 51.)

see, this is what happens when you allow your Broomhandle to spend to much time with your Tokarev without any adult supervision.

It sounds like this guy from the other forum (linked above) nailed it.

I would go with my gut that it's a Khyber pass special as well. I have seen English gobblety gook marking on them as well. I also think the sellers story is not real likely.

Quick, check the back lot! Someone's stealing sci-fi movie props again! :-o

That is one hideous pistol. Desert Eagle meets Mauser Broomhandle meets Gundam Wing meets... god, I don't know. Something hideous.
