Recently I was having an issue with my favorite load in a Storm Lake barrel. Another member posted that Storm Lake and others "short ream" their chambers so a smith can finish ream them to the correct depth for a customers specific load and COL.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Can I buy a chamber reamer through Brownels and carefully hand ream the chamber myself or does it need to be done in a lathe by a gunsmith? I just looking to cut the riffling and NOT extend the chamber.
