In the past I have used Pachmayer recoil pads for replacement. I ordered a Kick EEZ pad for Brownells and found it to be an easier pad to grind than the Pachmeyer pad. It really came out nice, the results were outstanding. If you havn't tried the Kick EEZ give it a try. Single O steel wool works great for getting any marks on the rubber part of the pad out. Sandpaper for the hard plastic base. Try it, you'll like it.

Good shotting, John K

Your experience with Kick EEZ is consistent with other people I know that have used them. However, I know one person who had a Kick EEZ pad tear from a pretty minor incident (bumped it on the corner of the truck end gate). The Kick EEZ pads appear to be made from a softer materiel and the Pachmayr's. Give and take I guess.
