Recommend a .204 for Coyotes?

Looking at Savage, Remington, Ruger, or buying an upper for AR-

Experiences, Advice appreciated-

One of my sons lives in S. Texas and uses his .204 (Remington 700) on coyotes - says it's phenomenal.

I have taken about 10 the past couple of days with a .17 Mach 2. You can kill coyotes with anything. I have taken pigs with a .204 so it will work wonders on coyotes.

204 drops coyotes like they were hit with Thors hammer. Kinda hard on pelts though.
If you are not interested in the hides, that does not matter.

I've got a 204 in a Ruger #1 and it will take down coyotes and is a great chuck gun. I also have a Rem 700 chambered in 22-250 and if I had to choose I would go with the 22-250 for the simple fact that you will be able to reach out a little farther,with a heaver bullet and greater BC ( less wind drift) Only down fall is you won't be able to see your hits through the scope with out a muzzel brake.
