I've got one of these:

It's my first AR and currently has a high power Leupold scope on it, but I want some back up iron sights. It's a S&W M&P 15 Performance Center 5.56.

Recommendations?

thanx

I went with Troy flip-ups and couldn't be happier. I recommend buying their tool for adjusting the sights as well.

Troy if you don't mind paying 260.00 on sights. Yankee Hill or Midwest Industries if money is important.

They are fine for the rear sight, but because they are polymer, don't use them on the gas block, they will melt. Use a metal fixed or flip up sight on the gas block.

I'm gonna get hammered by the AR studs on this site, but while I would agree that Troy Industries and Yankee Hill probably lead the pack; I bought a cheap set of UTG flip ups! You know, I loc-tited (blue) a set on my DPMS and they serve the purpose. POI moves as intended and I hit the 9 or 10 ring at 50 yrds every time. They are co-witnessed to a bushnell red dot, and remain as B/U sights. Very happy with the set-up.

If you're a "3 Gun" Guy or you are an LEO and bought your own stuff, you may want to invest in something a little more expensive.
