Red dot ready 22lr options

My sister currently is shooting an M&P 22 compact, but now she wants to add a red dot. She was told there was no good option for the M&P.
So, that said, is there a light weight 22 auto that comes red dot ready?
Or, is there a company out there that makes a quality red dot ready after market slide for the M&P?

I got a red dot for my wife's M&P 15. Can't imagine it would be any different than for the M&P 22.

Taurus TX22 Compact or Taurus TX22 Competition. Mine have been 100% reliable. They take Shield RMSC pattern red dots. I have Ritons on mine

The Ruger 22/45 Lite is an option that has a rail on top to easily mount an optic.

Sig P322 and FN 502 both come optics ready too.

The TX-22 compact has an amazing grip, and so far, mine shoots great.

Also, the TX22 has a rebate through the end of Oct 2023 in which buyers will received 3 free mags and a soft case upon successful submission and approval of said rebate.

I bought a TX22 Compact and submitted the rebate online. Its status changed to “approved - awaiting fulfillment” within a week. I don’t mind waiting; I like how they approved it quickly so you know you’re all set and just need to wait for the goodies to arrive.

Can't you find a dovetail mount for it?

I did your work for you. EGW makes one. I have one of their mounts on a Ruger and they are quality mounts.
