Redhawk Speed Loaders

Do any speedloaders work with the .45 Colt chambered Ruger Redhawk? Do the ones for the S&W 25-5 work in the Ruger?

Yes. The ones made for the Smith&Wesson will work.

HKS might also make one for the 45.I have them for my 44.they run around 6 bucks

You may even try the .44 caliber N-frame speedloaders. Sometimes HKS has just enough play in the charge holes to make it possible...

Call me crazy, but I never thought of having a speed loader with a Redhawk. Now you got me thinkin'

I always thought that 6 of them big boys should take care of the job.

I'd suggest trying Safariland Comp I's. They worked better for me back when I had a .44 Redhawk.

I've had HKS speedloaders for my RH for a long time, they work great. I put the nite sites on it also, why not?

The only difference between 44Mag and 45Colt should be where the detent would engage. Since the 44Mag and 45Colt has the same rim diameter, but the 45Colt being the wider shell, where it locks is the important part.

Trying out my 45Colt loads in 44Mag speedloaders, seem to work fine. Dunno if all of them would work though, depends on how much tolerance they put into making the speedloader.

45Colt and 454Casull speedloaders should be the same though. 12 rounds of 454Casull...
