So, let's say that we're planning on acquiring a redhawk or super redhawk for hunting purposes. Let's say that the barrel will be short of 7 inches. It will be chambered in either .357 or 10mm. Chest rigs are preferred, shoulders second, hip would be dead last. The scope needs to be reliable and accurate to 100 yds, (not necessarily for game, this is a varmint/plinking/practice requirement, shots on game will all be sub 75) quick acquisition would be wonderful as well. So, dots vs variable power, etc not a huge preference one way or the other, but this is a genuine learning query, and thus details behind recommendations are encouraged please. Also on the holster, the ability to carry a speedloader or 2 would be nice.
Eta, clarification, what scopes and holsters should we be looking at?

You said Redhawk or Super Redhawk, and I was following.

But then you said .357 or 10mm, and you lost me.

That's a lot of gun weight for those cartridges. Also, I don't much like the Redhawk for single action shooting. I have one, and shoot it like that, but with one spring for the hammer and trigger return combined, it's not great for SA. If I were to buy again, I'd go for a Super Redhawk.

But in the calibers your interested in, maybe a GP100 would be the way to go. You can get mounts for various red dot optics. Raptor Engineering is one, I believe.

I can further clarify that the missus likes the redhawk and the way it handles whist I use my Blackhawk with no need to change, were it up to me, this conversation would already be different lol, but I'll take double note of the super redhawk.

Gp100 I guess because a redhawk or super redhawk is generally 44 mag.

Although, I'm not sure what the question is.

The question is not about platform, we're looking for advice on scopes that work well for described use, and holsters to carry the hawk with scope.
