FYI...

I havent tried it yet but... another site I frequent mentioned that if you make a phone call to order parts during business hours the automated system will advise you of a four digit discount number to comp you on shipping for online orders... here's the original post.... (don't know if it works on weekends or afterhours, so...)

Has this ever happened to you? You're messing around with a gun when you forget that guns have springs and you eject a tiny-yet-critical part into the carpet, never to be seen again? You find a replacement at Numrich, but it's 9 PM, so you can't call to get the free shipping code?

Well, maybe I'm the only one, but it'll happen to you someday, mark my words. And when it happens, hopefully this thread will still exist!

I'm too lazy to keep this alive on my own, so I'd appreciate you guys' help on this.

Once a day, somebody somewhere needs to dial 866-686-7424 and press 1. A recording will spit out a free shipping code as incentive for using their website to place orders. Then share that code with the rest of us, that way if we break an M1 Carbine extractor or something at the range and we need to order another gross of them at 7 PM, we can save a few bucks on shipping. Nothing is more annoying than buying a two dollar part, only to spend three times that for an envelope and a first class stamp.

By special request: http://www.gunpartscorp.com/

Codes expire at midnight, Eastern time. There are no codes on weekends.

I feel the same way about over priced shipping. I need to order a recoil spring for a marlin 60. the part cost $3.50, but almost $5 to ship. I say put the part in an envelope and mail it to me for 44 cents and lets get this show on the road.
